Yariv M. Sultan is Principal Consultant and Managing Partner of GlobalCan. GlobalCan offers strategic solutions to Israeli and international nonprofits that help optimize their organizational mission, strategy and performance, with a specialization in fundraising and social investments.
Sultan is currently Senior Advisor for International Development at WIZO (Women's International Zionist Organization), with a focus on European markets. He recently completed his work on behalf of the British Council, where he was Senior Advisor for Partnerships and Business Development.
Prior to founding GlobalCan, Sultan held executive positions in resource development and fundraising in the non-profit and public sectors. He has a proven track record in cultivating and stewarding donor and client relationships in Israel and around the world. His previous positions include Head of Public Affairs and Resource Development at the Technion, Director of International Marketing at the Jewish Agency, Executive Director of International Operations at World WIZO, and Vice President for External Relations and Resource Development at the University of Haifa.
Yariv Sultan previously served as CEO of the Keren Kayemeth Leisrael (KKL) / Jewish National Fund (JNF) in Switzerland and Austria for eight years, and CEO of KKL Treuhand Gesellschaft AG, the KKL's Financial Services Company LTD, located in Zurich.
Yariv Sultan has held board positions at The Foundation for the Advancement of Philosophy in Israel (Switzerland), the Pierre and Germaine Blum Foundation (Switzerland), the Reuven and Edith Hecht Museum, Carmel LTD - the Economic Corporation of the University of Haifa, and the Haifa Research Center for Maritime Policy & Strategy.
